Tom Gaffney

Tom Gaffney has advised water and wastewater public agencies throughout California for 35 years, and served as the primary consultant for the Ross Valley Sanitary District Long-Range Financing Plan, approved by the district board in July, 2007. A Ross Valley resident for 50 years, he is highly respected for his public financing expertise and knowledge of our local infrastructure. Two key factors played a role in Tom's deciding to run for public office, the first was that in his many years of consulting he had rarely seen such a poorly managed public agency as the Ross Valley Sanitary District; and the second factor was that he felt compelled to do something about an agency that was headed towards bankruptcy in the very district in which he lived.

If elected, Tom will:

	Bring financial responsibility to the district
	Retain a competent management team
	Mend fences with Central Marin partners
	Implement needed sewer replacements
	Get district back on track with discussions pertaining to regionalization
