Marin Healthcare District

2006 was my foray into Marin politics, when with $2,000 of my own money I went up against 7 other candidates - who combined spent over $200,000. I came within a close margin of the 4th and 5th place finishers, earned the endorsements of the vast majority of doctors and nurses - as well as The Pacific Sun, and gained the respect of the local political establishment. In 2008 I was asked to collaborate on the campaigns of the two winning candidates, and I continue to participate in the transition process at Marin General Hospital.

To see the issues I supported, please review my Candidate Statement and Action Plan, and I invite you to visit the webpage of the Alliance to Save Our Hospital.
